Degree Apprenticeship – Introduction
The Apprentice will receive training and work on an array of interesting projects within the Wind Monitoring Team at Dulas. Whilst working in-sector, the Apprentice will gain invaluable experiences and skills, which will contribute towards aiding the candidate to qualify by the end of the contract.
The Apprentice will earn a BSc (Hons) Construction Management Degree from Wrexham Glyndwr University during their employment with Dulas and can do so without debt, as there are no fees for students studying as part of the Degree Apprentice programme.

Purpose of the Job
You will join Dulas as a full time employee, whilst studying for an honour’s degree from Wrexham University. This role provides effective project support to the Wind Monitoring project delivery team, ensuring that all client projects are delivered to a high technical standard completed on time and to budget. and that clients receive concise and professional documentation.
The predominantly desk-based role will assist with the coordination and planning of projects, as well as the preparation of project related paperwork.
During your time at Dulas, you will be exposed to a wide range of Wind Monitoring projects and will take an active role in delivering projects for our customers. Dulas will train you in the processes and tools that you will need to do the work, in addition to the things that you will cover in your degree.
As an Apprentice, you will receive full access to all Wrexham Glyndwr student services, including disability and wellbeing support, library and IT services, free membership to clubs and societies, reduced gym membership and many other benefits. You will be assigned a personal tutor; this is a member of academic staff who is on hand to discuss academic work, as well as provide pastoral care for the duration of study.
Your studies will be undertaken during your day release and evenings/weekends and will not detract from your working hours and experiences.
Main Duties and Responsibilities; Taught and Developed as part of the Apprenticeship
• Work with the Wind Monitoring team to deliver an increasing number of projects.
• Engage with other team members at Dulas.
• Have a learning mindset, be ready to learn employability skills, to be coached and to
sharpen your low-carbon skills.
General Duties
• Planning, prioritise and organise own work to achieve agreed objectives.
• Working with the team to deliver a range of projects for our clients; prepping site paperwork, booking plant, accommodation or anything else required for the project at hand.
• Assisting with ensuring that all subcontractors working on site have the relevant personal qualifications and certifications, to demonstrate that their plant and equipment are compliant with current legislation.
• Attending client facing meetings when appropriate.
• Assisting with the financial management of projects (raising/receive POs, creating draft invoices etc).
• Record keeping in accordance with company HSQE procedures.
• Solving day to day problems as they arise, while recognising when a problem should be referred to others.
• Adopting a positive approach to teamwork, always looking for opportunities to act as an Ambassador for Dulas.
• Any other duties as requested by the Commercial Lead to reflect the changing needs and demands of the projects.
• Contribute to the successful operation of Dulas and the achievement of the vision, aims
and objectives set by the Company.
Essential Skills & Experience
• 48-72 UCAS tariff points from appropriate level 3 qualifications such as A Levels.

• 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C, including Maths and English Language/Welsh.
