Job Scope

1) Assists the project manager in project take-offs/to take off quantity for on-going projects and tender.

2) To be fully in charge of BQ, materials computation and contracts preparation. 3) To prepare project budgets and cost analysis.

4) To ensure timely handling and certification of on-going project claims and payments including VOs.

5) To ensure smooth communication and coordination with consultants, architects, engineers, builders, contractors and suppliers.

Requirements

1) Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, with Quantity surveyor related. 2) Preferable Executives specializing in quantity surveying or equivalent.

3) Required language: Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malay

4) Good management of overall QS operation

Your new company
As a highly skilled Property Services Surveyor, you will join a predominantly Southwest-based provider of affordable housing who are responsible for the management and maintenance of over 50,000 homes regionally, serving over 114,000 customers across the patch. You will be joining a customer first organisation, a landlord who is guided by the customers, listening to what they say about the type of community and community by which they'd like to live in.

Your new role
You will help to provide a property surveying service across your portfolio of homes, a varied role which will allow you to utilise your full range of surveying skills. You will provide technical leadership to a variety of multidisciplinary projects which are delivered by in-house teams and external approved contractors, ensuring that the business maintains compliance with statutory obligations and meets customer expectations.

In addition to the above, you will help the team to deliver an effective defect diagnosis service, providing support in relation to identifying, inspecting, and providing solutions to problems and defects within the housing stock.

What you'll need to succeed

• Effective interpersonal skills, including teamwork, networking, and negotiation skills and the ability to positively motivate all stakeholders whilst building trusted relationships.
• The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads to deliver an outstanding service to the partnered departments.
• Poses a commercially astute approach with a focus on obtaining value for money.
• A relevant degree or HND / HNC in building surveying or an equivalent construction related qualification.

Estates Operative

Salary - £28,800

Locations - Residential Building - SW8

Working Pattern - 4 days on 2 days off 9hr days

We are seeking a talented Estates Operative to join our client's outstanding team. The role involves performing internal and external upkeep and maintenance tasks for a reputable residential complex.

Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:

• General upkeep of the buildings and surrounding areas/supporting the vision of a clean and presentable environment at all times
• Reporting of any issues and incidents to management for prompt resolution
• Maintaining bin store areas and moving and emptying bins as required and Ensuring recycling and general rubbish are separated ready for collection days
• General yard and common area maintenance including sweeping, pressure washing and polishing
• Undertaking basic repair works
• Work closely with other team members in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the cleanliness satisfaction of stakeholder
• To ensure any keys removed from concierge or estates management are returned to ensure a safe and secure building at all times.
• Having a complete understanding of the different cleaning products, and their economical use, ensuring the appropriate cleaning materials are used in accordance with set standards/H&S policies
