Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced Land & Measured Building Surveyor who has the enthusiasm drive and direction to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in working with their high-value client base, with a primary focus on historic buildings. Key Responsibilities:

1. Surveying Expertise: Conduct detailed land and measured building surveys, particularly focusing on period and Grade I listed properties.
2. Data Integration: Collaborate with architects and conservation specialists to integrate survey data into the design and planning processes.
3. Client Engagement: Act as a dedicated point of contact for clients throughout the surveying process, ensuring clear communication and understanding of client requirements.
4. Project Management: Manage surveying projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land & Measured Building Surveyor, ideally with a focus on historic or unusual properties.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard surveying equipment and software - as this is a new role you can be part of the decision on what kit and software is right for you.
• Own equipment and strong post process skills are an advantage
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• RICS accreditation or equivalent would be an advantage

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Land Surveyor. As a pivotal team member, you will be entrusted with conducting Topographic Surveys and Land Surveying using cutting-edge equipment such as Total Stations and Laser Scanners. Your role extends to supervising assistants, preparing survey drawings, and proficiently utilizing surveying software to process survey data.
Qualifications:

• Expertise in Topographic Surveys, Land Surveying, Total Station, and Laser Scanning.
• Experience in Building Surveying and Surveying.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and processing survey data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to work independently.
• Highways surveying experience is particularly valued
• A qualification in surveying or a related field is preferred.
