• Ensuring treatment plans develop all CAT/Recreation Therapists to promote the goals of the program in which each Veteran is participating

• Recommending and initiating counseling and disciplinary actions for subordinates, as guided by Human Resources Management, Union contracts and Recreation policies
• Responsible for conducting an evaluation of the competency of each staff member to assure he/she possesses the necessary skills to successfully complete assigned duties
• Developing position descriptions or functional statements and determining the level of competency necessary to meet mandatory job requirements

• Analyzing current use and projects needs for formulation of the annual service budget estimating operating requirements including staffing, equipment, supplies, and services
• Maintaining RT fund-control point and general post accounts as an approving official, as specified in policy

• Assisting in the development of the performance improvement program to continually monitor therapy functions of WH & HS staff for quality and appropriateness of CAT/recreation therapy
• Assuring the well being/recreation therapy program is in compliance with applicable standards established by OSHA, VHA, JC, CARF and other reviewing agencies

• Overseeing a continuing staff development program for therapists and therapy assistants
• May serve as a mentor or preceptor for any creative arts/recreation therapy student

The United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Launch Delta 30/RM at Vandenberg Space Force Base is searching for a Supervisory Electronics Engineer, Architecture and Innovation Branch (NH-0855-04, GS 14/15 equivalent).

Description:
As the Electronics Engineer you will lead the Architecture and Innovation Branch and be directly responsible for developing the future Western Range (WR) Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) architecture and injecting innovations to effectively digitally transform the range into a future modernized spaceport that can meet our nation's increasing needs. The Architecture and Innovation Branch is a collaborative, fast-paced environment, that achieves rapid results.

This position is an expert within their functional area; heads of branches or divisions; or key program administrators. Conducts or directs activities or assists higher levels on challenging and innovative program development with only general guidance on policy, resources, and planning; develops solutions to highly complex problems requiring various disciplines; responsible for fulfilling program objectives. Results are authoritative and impact programs or the well-being of substantial numbers of people.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of systems engineering and associated disciplines such as systems engineering plans, test and evaluation plans, life-cycle engineering, operational safety, suitability and effectiveness plans, specs and standards, national environmental policy act, and programmatic environmental safety and health evaluations. Knowledge of a wide range of multidisciplinary professional engineering, asset management, and operations theories, concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment as well as knowledge of standard construction and contracting regulations, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of the principles of facility and infrastructure operations, repair, maintenance, and upgrade principles, theories, concepts, and procedures; customer service operations; and financial management principles and standards. Knowledge of the principles of planning, program management, and standard acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
