We are looking for a female staff team to support a service user with complex needs and learning disabilities to live as independently as they can in the community, in Scunthorpe. The service user has a very active social life and therefore will need support from staff to and from their activities. Driving is not essential.
You will provide person-centred support to enable our service user to live a fulfilling life within their local community close to Ashby and achieve positive outcomes. You will be expected to support with personal care, administer medications, prepare and cook meals, managing finances and budgeting, have positive relationships with their family and involved professionals.
Full training is provided as well as the opportunity for further professional development.
We are looking for female Support Workers who are confident, fun, energetic, motivating, patient, caring and person-centred. Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of people with learning disabilities. Experience is beneficial, however, we are looking for staff with the right values who want to enable vulnerable people to reach their full potential and live a happy life.
You will be an enthusiastic team player and flexible to work on a 24-hour rota system over 7 days and involve sleep-in shifts.
