• Assists in overseeing the work of the Medical Operations and Maintenance Section in the execution of Operations and Maintenance work, minor construction, renovation, and improvement projects for a variety of medical and/or research facilities.
• Serves as principle POC for DoD Military Installations that the Mobile District’s MST supports.

• Prepares Architectural / Engineering (A/E) statements of work for the design of medical facilities projects involving renovations, additions, and new minor construction, prepares design fee estimates.
• Coordinates all O and M actions with medical facility managers and staff elements.
• Monitors construction contract execution to assure ensure compliance with contract provisions and standards, and maintains current progress status data information for all assigned projects.
• Serves as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for assigned contracts.

Description:
As the Electronics Engineer you will lead the Architecture and Innovation Branch and be directly responsible for developing the future Western Range (WR) Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) architecture and injecting innovations to effectively digitally transform the range into a future modernized spaceport that can meet our nation's increasing needs. The Architecture and Innovation Branch is a collaborative, fast-paced environment, that achieves rapid results.

This position is an expert within their functional area; heads of branches or divisions; or key program administrators. Conducts or directs activities or assists higher levels on challenging and innovative program development with only general guidance on policy, resources, and planning; develops solutions to highly complex problems requiring various disciplines; responsible for fulfilling program objectives. Knowledge of the principles of facility and infrastructure operations, repair, maintenance, and upgrade principles, theories, concepts, and procedures; customer service operations; and financial management principles and standards. Knowledge of the principles of planning, program management, and standard acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures. SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer provides graphic design and marketing support. Design and develops a wide range of media in support of interactive multimedia courseware that support a variety of instructional approaches and/or strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops a wide range of media, including photography, animations, audio, digital video, still image, 3D simulations, schematics, diagrams, 2D and 3D graphical representations, avatars, and other graphical representations as required to produce courseware.

Prepares graphics and illustrations from concept drawings, sketches, models, and/or written and verbal instructions. 

Assists in the analysis of training requirements and media requirements to determine best approach to visually accomplish desired instructional approaches/strategies.

Ability to offer solutions to Instructional Designers and conceptualize and produce quality graphics based on script/storyboards.

Reviews requirements for digital photo needs, assists with creating shoot lists and takes necessary photos to support the design and development of interactive multimedia courseware.  Experienced with working with a variety of digital photography equipment, editing software, file formats, and printers.

 Works independently to travel to locations and work with teams onsite to coordinate photo shoots.  Ensures that all necessary photos are clear and have appropriate lighting.

Performs a variety of processing activities of raw photographs, including editing and digitizing.  Follow naming conventions for storage and easy retrieval.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
