Operational Risk Management – Data Risk (DR) is part of Citi’s second line of defense (2LoD). Our mission is to drive comprehensive and consistent practices designed to identify, measure, monitor, report and manage operational risks while promoting the implementation of actions to address root causes which may lead to unintended operational losses.

ORM-Data Risk consists of experienced professionals who provide subject matter expertise to objectively evaluate, independently oversee, and constructively challenge first line of defense (1LoD) teams, governance, processes, and controls.

The Data Senior Risk Officer – Enterprise Data Architecture will be responsible for identifying, anticipating, challenging, and mitigating risks that could affect business objectives, and minimizing operational risk events and losses in assigned Enterprise Operations entities.

Key Responsibilities:

The Data Senior Risk Officer – Enterprise Data Architecture will be a thought leader with hands-on experience in an engineering or architecture function within a globally complex, dispersed and diverse organizations. Operational risk management or risk and control experience a plus.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience across disciplines of data and technology; as well as:

• Demonstrable track record of identifying, assessing, monitoring and measuring data risks within a highly complex global business.
• Responsible for challenging and assessing businesses and functions framework and execution of their data architecture efforts to include process & design engineering.
• Experience in leading the design, development, implementation and integration of data and technology solutions.
• Effectively challenge program management of current state enterprise data architecture efforts that support the data transformation program, including identifying and managing interdependencies between programs and providing transparency to Citi stakeholders.
• Responsible for the identification of potential risk & control initiatives and opportunities, analyzing them to determine operational effectiveness impact, prioritizing them and developing detailed implementation plans
• Proficiency in risk and control data analysis, in particular that ability to incorporate and understand mass information from a variety of sources to recommend a course of action.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
• Assess and challenge adherence with policies/standards (e.g., data quality) and adoption of data governance capabilities and initiatives with the data governance program.

• Broad experience across disciplines of technology to deep technical familiarity with engineering and data architecture principles to include: use of trusted sources for each class of data, conformity to data definitions, data lineage preservation, data value, data ownership and control, metadata value, and use data quality controls. Experience implementing or overseeing said principles within a complex environment.
• Demonstrate strong communication and relationship building in a complex data environment.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred, in a technology or engineering discipline.
• Experience in operational risk, security and intelligence, engineering, information systems, or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in area of focus.
• 10 or more years’ experience in information technology, developing complex, cross business change strategies with a proven track record of execution.
• Process reengineering and process mapping experience preferred, along with a proven track record of successfully leading complex and transformative projects.
• Knowledge of control simplification tools, principles and application.
• Broad and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of banking operations including regulatory requirements and reengineering. People management skills. High level of discretion and judgment in the application of reengineering principles.
• In-depth knowledge of data management, data governance, data quality or related data concepts (DAMA, DMBOK) preferred.

SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer/ Video Editor will provide project support to a Federal client. Creates and conceptualizes graphics, illustrations, typography, layouts, logos, animations, collateral, and other branding assets for educational and training purposes. Experience in design for a wide range of audiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Assists senior team members in communicating with client constituents, facilitating the identification and resolution of problems, assisting with logical analysis, ensuring consistency of graphics and branding, providing input on training modules, program documents, research materials, and communications deliverables, and handling support requests.

Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts.

Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

Maintains brand standards in print and digital design assets.

Plans concepts by studying information and materials.

Illustrates concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

Designs collateral materials, including memos, strategic plans, newsletters, flyers, invitations, websites and other collateral as needed.

Follows creative direction and style for current and new projects.

Participates in team discussions and meetings.

Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.

Prepares press ready files to send to printer.

Collaborates with team members in brainstorming for marketing and advertising strategies.

Edits and assembles raw video footage into polished, visually compelling video productions.

Works closely with other team members to develop concepts, storylines, and overall video production strategy.

Cuts, splices, and synchronizes video and audio clips, apply transitions, titles, sound effects, and color corrections.

Selects and adds appropriate music and sound effects to videos.

Creates and implements graphics and special effects in video.

Collaborates with the team to develop video marketing strategies that meet clients' needs.

Maintains high quality and accuracy in all aspects of the video production process.

Job Summary
Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks a Director of Academic Administration to join its Academic Affairs group. Academic Affairs supports the work of faculty, departments and students across all divisions. 

The Director of Academic Administration plays a central role in the establishment and application of academic policies, in the seamless operations of academic affairs at all levels, and in the compliance with contractual obligations. Directly reporting to the Provost, the Director ensures that divisional course allocations, staffing, leaves, and all matters related to faculty professional lives occur according to institutional priorities and accreditation requirements, and that they are systemically organized in an effective manner. The Director works collaboratively with other members of the Academic Affairs leadership team to translate curricular requirements into administrative tasks and to operationalize them for various constituencies at the institution. Because of the direct and frequent work with faculty, the Director holds deep knowledge of the collective bargaining agreements and participates in labor-relation conversations, as well as the articulation of various memoranda.

Essential Functions:  
1. Contracts & Compliance
●    Responsible for administrating faculty hiring and for ensuring and maintaining accurate faculty employment and compensation records and ensuring alignment with HR for compliance matters. Issue adjunct contracts and prepare information for payroll. Troubleshoot pay issues independently or in concert with campus partners, as needed.
●    Direct the production and related paper and digital student evaluations of faculty for each term of the academic year including the distribution of communication to faculty, students, and academic leadership. Ensure archiving of paper and digital evaluations and periodic purges of those no longer relevant in accordance with internal processes, including but not limited to the Bargaining Agreement.
●    Serve as a resource for faculty and academic staff negotiations as needed. Serve as a resource relative to faculty issues for various offices on campus in accordance with collective bargaining obligations, institutional policies and processes.

●    May provide documentation for and liaise with internal partners or external legal counsel regarding employment visas and permanent resident status for faculty. 

2. Administrative Systems
●    In collaboration with academic leadership, internal subject matter experts and with knowledge of best practices, review, evaluate and lead process reengineer efforts to simplify, streamline and ensure compliance with a range of operational processes.
●    Coordinate course tables used for year-long curriculum and budget planning. Liaise with departments, divisions, and the office of the Registrar to set up and maintain course information in RISD’s system(s) of record and to produce course announcements.
●    Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of Workday and related academic processes to ensure efficient and accurate workstreams, business processes, and tasks. Partners with ITS and internal subject matter experts to lead and ensure systems function as intended. Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement or efficiency and implement as approved. 
●    Implement faculty promotions, salary reviews, sabbaticals, and other leaves in Workday. Prepare for new academic year by completing testing, auditing, and documentation of processes and actively engaging with HR Partners.
 
3. Training, Orientation, and Education
●    In collaboration with academic leadership, provide group orientations including but not limited to, dossier workshop and contract orientation and a range of other onboarding topics to provide faculty, and academic staff, and leaders with necessary tools that enable successful performance of their duties.   
●    Fact check Faculty, Department Head, and Graduate Student Instructor handbooks annually. Consult with the Associate Provost on content to be updated, removed, and/or developed.

4. Data and Reporting
●    Ensure academic data is available, reportable, shareable with offices on campus charged with data oversight and management. In partnership with the Academic Budget office, provide information for academic planning, including but not limited to faculty searches, etc. 
 
5. Committee on Faculty Appointments
●    With a high degree of confidentiality, oversee and manage the process for RISD’s Committee on Faculty Appointments, including but not limited to the creation of faculty dossier sites and distribution of correspondence following CFA decisions.
 
Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Experience with personal computers with word processing, spreadsheet and database software required.

• Ability to use and leverage technology and platforms for information and administrative management in support of problem-solving and decision-making.

• Experience facilitating immigration and visa applications and liaising with immigration counsel and representatives.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of constituents – both academic and administrative.

• Strong organizational skills and excellent writing skills.  Ability to help interpret academic projects and research needs and to translate these needs into budgetary systems.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where confidentiality and discretion is required.  

• Knowledgeable with proven experience working with a diverse group of individuals and a demonstrated ability to provide leadership in enhancing an atmosphere promoting diversity and inclusion.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Seven to ten years’ experience administering, interpreting and implementing bargaining unit contracts and academic policies to ensure compliance and consistency with at least three years providing supervision and or guidance to other academic support staff.

Key Role:

Basic Qualifications:

·       5+ years of experience with data or solutions architecture, machine learning engineering, data engineering, DevOps, or software engineering

·       Experience with supporting Cloud platform infrastructure, including on AWS, Azure, or GCP

·       Knowledge of database management concepts, storage, query, and retrieval methods

·       Knowledge of statistical analysis and programming languages to perform analysis

·       Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams

·       Ability to achieve on-time and on-budget delivery

·       Ability to obtain a security clearance

·       Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

·       Experience with integrating DevSecOps practices and principles throughout the project life cycle

·       Experience with integrating AI and ML capabilities into software architecture design

·       Experience with the application of Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision for intelligence use cases

·       Experience with AI and ML tools and frameworks, including TensorFlow or PyTorch

·       Experience with AI concepts and tooling to support deep learning, machine learning, signal processing, and natural language processing

·       Experience with producing technical documentation and designs 

·       Experience with project management, client relationship building, and executive communication capabilities

·       Knowledge of DoD AI and ML policies and practices pertaining to big data and analytics

·       Knowledge of the DoD, Intelligence Community, and the Intelligence Cycle

·       Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Leidos is hiring for a Graphic Designer Team Lead in Washington, DC. Team leads are technical leads for contractor personnel in their functional area and SMEs in their labor categories. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide senior-level expertise to team members, complete complicated or complex tasks independently, and lead or direct the work of contractor personnel assigned to their functional area. 
• Work collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances / conveys analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions. 
• Provide graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, providing font management, and utilizing advanced pre-publications techniques. 
• Use Government-specified technology to produce graphic design, cartographic products, and interactive graphical content, video content, analytic product templates, and marketing content.
• Demonstrate proficiency in professional graphics and design software to include, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere, and Flash), Apple Final Cut Pro X, and Apple Mac hardware platforms, Map Publisher, Microsoft 365, and any other interactive graphics enablers, languages, or tools specified.

What does Leidos need from me?

• Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required. Candidate will be subject to a Polygraph.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
• Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
• Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks. 
• In-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
• Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
• Minimum 12 years of experience related to graphic design field with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years.

Favorable if you have:

• Experience leading teams of 10-20 or more employees.
• Experience leading T&M TO contracts, as well as performance-based contracts
• Ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
• In-depth knowledge and demonstrable experience with the intelligence production cycle, executive intelligence production, graphic design, web development, and data science and related technologies.
• Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
• Experience in Graphic Design and Multimedia production, Web Development, Business Analytics.
• Desired Education: Master’s degree in an area related to the Graphics Design field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to Graphic Design or a related fine arts field, from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.
