Coordinate all survey and design works for the construction and maintenance of Roads, Drainage and Roadside furnishings, in both rural and urban environments, and to assist in the investigation of all queries regarding these matters.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will possess a well-developed problem-solving ability and demonstrate their excellent interpersonal skills with the general public and fellow employees. A Degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and/or minimum of four (4) years relevant experience in Local Government is essential. They must possess a high level of computer literacy in the use of a variety of software applications including MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, GIS (QGIS preferred), flood modelling software, web-based products and information management systems.
Salary and Conditions
A salary of $78,787.80 - $98,415.72 pa plus 11.5% superannuation (effective 1st July) and applicable allowances will be offered (depending on qualifications and experience). This permanent position is 35 hours per week with a monthly rostered day off. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. Your profile
Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field required, such as medical technology or a technical apprenticeship with further training to be a technician, along with relevant professional experience
Several years related experience or an advanced degree without experience
Advanced knowledge of Design Control and Risk Management standards (e.g, ISO13485, IEC 60601 and ISO 14971)
Advanced knowledge of medical device regulations (e.g. MDR 745/2017, 21CFR820.30, NMPA-Regulation)
Experience with product or design and development or quality engineering of sterile disposables utilizing various plastic processes such as injection molding and extruding
Deep understanding of Design Controls and solid engineering expertise that enables them to guide engineering teams
