• Incumbent serves as trained and experienced member of a wildland fire module or hand crew or engine crew executing fire management activities in fire preparedness, fuels management and prevention, and fire suppression, monitoring, and post fire activities.
• Specific specialty areas of work within fire modules or crews include fire engine operation, fire management planning, fuels management, and prevention.
• Work may also include all hazard and emergency response activities.
• Work activities include gathering and considering information on weather data, topography, fuel types, and fire behavior in responding to wildland fire incidents.
• Implements tactical directions on attacking, controlling, or mopping up fires, building or patrolling firelines, cleaning up burned areas within firelines, suppressing spot fires, felling snags or trees, and cutting brush.

• Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of existing application software utilized in the payroll program. Makes functional design enhancements or develops new capabilities to achieve the objectives of the organization.
• Reviews the existing internal control system impacting the payroll program to determine if the controls are adequate to provide reasonable assurance of meeting component objectives efficiently and effectively and of safeguarding government resources.

Description:
As the Electronics Engineer you will lead the Architecture and Innovation Branch and be directly responsible for developing the future Western Range (WR) Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) architecture and injecting innovations to effectively digitally transform the range into a future modernized spaceport that can meet our nation's increasing needs. The Architecture and Innovation Branch is a collaborative, fast-paced environment, that achieves rapid results.

This position is an expert within their functional area; heads of branches or divisions; or key program administrators.
