We are a looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with a background in residential and commercial building projects to work in Birmingham, helping establish a brand new office in reaction to ongoing sustained workload in the area.

As a Senior Structural Engineer you will be working on a range of projects throughout the residential and commercial sector, and should be able to demonstrate experience in completing structural surveys and design work on projects in these sectors. Experience working with steel, concrete and masonry is required, and Chartered status with IStructE would be advantageous.

Long-term you will also be responsible for leading the team of more junior engineers and growing an office in this area, providing direction and oversight for their work and taking active responsibility on major projects for the business - with this in mind the role is ideally suited to someone with established experience in the industry.

Candidates must have previous experience working to British Standards and Eurocodes to comply with UK legislation on the required projects, and you must have excellent written technical English with demonstrable experience in producing accurate reports.

We are a looking for a Structural/Civil Technician with a background in residential and commercial projects in the UK.

As a Structural/Civil Technician you will be skilled and familiar with AutoCAD, Revit and either PDS or Civils 3D.

Capability of complex design is desirable, and good organisation, communication and presentation skills along with a good understanding of general processes and quality assurance standards is essential.

You will have at least 2+ years' experience working within an Engineering Consultancy and should be confident in the daily use of Revit and AutoCAD.

Candidates for the Technician position must have previous experience working to British Standards and Eurocodes to comply with UK legislation on the required projects, with demonstrable experience in detailing of steel and concrete.

You will be working alongside side senior staff to provide CAD drawing and infrastructure design support, and will be required to have excellent knowledge of infrastructure standards and Local Authority design standards.

Your role will involve undertaking and editing designs to form part of technical submission packs for detailed designs, as well as the editing of designs following receipt of comments from adopting authorities and engineers.

We are a looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum background of 10 years' experience in residential developments to work on a permanent basis on UK projects.

As a Senior Civil Engineer you will have a background that includes a minimum 2:1 BEng/BSc or MEng degree in Civil Engineering, and be near to or recently chartered with the ICE.

The right person for this Senior Civil Engineer role will have a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in civil/infrastructure UK consultancy engineering. You will need to have a driving licence and use of your own car for site visits and meetings, and must be able to manage your own workload efficiently and flexibly to achieve required deadlines whilst maintaining quality.

Your experience in working on residential developments should include the production of - and gaining approval for - S38, S278 and S104 packages. A clear understanding of current design standards for both roads and drainage including local authority, national and regulatory guidance and planning policy will be required.

Proficient in the use of MicroDrainage (or Causeway Flow), along with Causeway PDS and/or Civil 3D and will be required.

You will be responsible for the design and delivery of multiple projects at various stages from conception through to completion at both a local and national level, and will need to be skilled in Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy report writing as well as Cut and Fill ground modelling and Production of Site Appraisals.

The role will include regular contact with clients, other design team members and attendance at meetings.
