Job Description:

• Assist in live event photography and videography
• Operate a variety of cameras and equipment for photography and videography
• Collaborate with marketing/events team to conceptualize and execute visually compelling content tailored for social media platforms
• Process editing of videos (i.e.: add on subtitles, add in graphics, add on background music, adjustment of voiceover, background noise etc)
• Spearhead new video projects to support outreach efforts across social media platforms
• Carry out improvements for existing videos
• Other relevant duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in software including, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, Microsoft office and Microsoft power point.

• Have to travel to various campus locations during events

• Work with various toolsets and teams to understand design’s requirements and communicate engineering concerns back to design.

• Assist in the discovery and delivery of fixes for Spectrum implementation gaps.

• Document and share our ground-breaking techniques with the wider web development and design engineering communities.

What you need to succeed

Must-Haves

• Specialist understanding of building sophisticated web UI using multiple frameworks, build tools, and the latest ECMAScript features (4+ years)

• Deep experience and flexibility around CSS architecture and practices, such as pre and post processors, cross-browser concerns, layout, responsive design, and animation (4+ years)

• Detailed experience with web UI implementation, ideally having direct experience with the web components standard, lit-based components, and related aspects of that ecosystem. (3+ years)

• Compassionate leadership skills and a proven track record working collaboratively in a team. You lead by listening and engaging team members and colleagues in planning and discovery.

• Proven knowledge of the Node.js ecosystem and npm package development (2+ years)

• Experience with git and GitHub, the process of contribution to open source development, and performing peer code reviews

• Solid understanding of UI accessibility practices, standards, and testing methods

• A pragmatic, collaborative and open-minded outlook, and a high degree of comfort working in a fast-paced environment closely working with designers and engineers.

• Practice with open development, providing collaborative and detailed feedback to other team members

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with design systems concepts such as tokens, tooling, standard methodologies, and how they integrate with product development

• Experience building libraries, frameworks, or SDKs used by other developers

• Experience building responsive components for mobile web

• Hands-on usage of build, test, and release methods; such as compilers, linting, CI/CD tooling, software testing and validation techniques, and modern dev-ops practices

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
