Our clients are Architects are a medium-sized design driven architecture and interior design practice working on projects in the hospitality, premium residential, med-high density, commercial and adaptive re-use projects.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and highly talented Project Architect who will be excited to focus on innovative hospitality solutions and projects. Ideally you will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience and knowledge of all steps from concept through to completion.
Qualifications & experience
• 2-10 years plus post-grad experience (inc min 5 years in Australia)
• Industrial experience essential
• Advanced Revit user
• Sound knowledge of NCC/BCA and Australian Standards
• MS Office and AutoCad experience is essential;
• Photoshop, SketchUp preferable.

Tasks & responsibilities
• Design development and documentation for predominantly HOSPITALITY and RESIDENTIAL projects
• Coordination with project teams and consultants
• Contribute at concept and design development stages
• Effective time and resources management
• Promote quality architecture and maintain and encourage a positive job attitude

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Manage several projects and design teams simultaneously
• Internal and external team management and business development
• Close Client interaction and site visits
• Designs interior spaces, including permanent architectural details and temporary elements
• Producing design concepts, detailed workings, mood-boards, drawings and specifications as required.
• ArchiCAD and Rhino documentation & designing
• Preparing bids, tender applications and presentations
• Establishes project timelines and coordinates work activity, vendor involvement and outside contractors as necessary
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
• At least 8 years experience with a confident and proactive approach to your work
• Ideally you will have a variety of project typology experience.
• Education, Commercial, Retail and base-build project experience will be highly regarded
• Strong ArchiCAD ability is essential

About the role:
Working closely with the project team, client and stakeholders across all project phases
Working closely with clients to determine their specific brief requirements
Producing detailed design and documentation including interior detailing
Assisting with the development of feasibility studies
Skills and Abilities:
Exemplary achievement in professional tertiary qualifications is mandatory
Excellent conceptual design skills with demonstrated achievements
Excellent spatial planning skills
Expert knowledge of digital modelling programs mandatory: ArchiCAD and Rhinoceros
Strong computational, analytical and graphic skills using the above programs
Strong communication skills with a highly developed graphic sensibility using Adobe Suite graphic programs
Demonstrated high level of accuracy across all project phases
Work Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Architect or Architectural Designer with demonstrated local project experience.
Salary Range: $70k to $120K depending on experience. The role is a full time permanent position.
