JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer who can also contribute to our store visual merchandising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and a keen understanding of how visual elements can enhance the in-store customer experience.
MAIN DUTIES
- Responsible for creative excellence on projects from conceptualization to execution
- Provide strategic thinking and analysis for a project being proposed
- Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to the final project completion
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness
- Ensure consistency and quality across all design deliverables, maintaining brand identity and standards
- Work closely with printers and other vendors to ensure accurate production and timely delivery of printed materials
- Assist with other design-related tasks and projects as needed
Graphic Design:
- Create visually stunning graphics, illustrations, and layouts for print and digital media, including but not limited to: marketing materials, advertisements, social media graphics, website assets, and presentations.
- Ability to provide final artworks
- Managing websites and social media design, contents, and updates
Visual Merchandising:
- Ensure that the visual merchandising guidelines are consistent with brand’s aesthetics and are regionally relevant
- Responsible for forecasting of VM display tools for seasonal launches and counter openings
- Collaborate with the Global Team to adapt global planograms and seasonal launches’ guidelines specific for our Regions
- Responsible for working with the Store Design Team for new counter openings, renovations and ordering of VM counter tools
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- A Candidate must possess at least Certification/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in Visual Communication and Graphic Design, or related field
- Good team player with the ability to work both independently and team-based environment
- Have a good sense of urgency and time management to meet tight deadlines
- Positive working attitude, self-motivated & hardworking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and concepts visually
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Attention to details
- Fluency in English
- Required Skills(s): Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of web design principles and experience with HTML/CSS and Sketchup is a plus
