As a 3D Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate 3D models and technical drawings of equipment and machinery using computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will work closely with engineers, product developers, and other stakeholders to transform conceptual ideas and designs into functional and manufacturable products. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in CAD software tools.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
• A good teammate with good communication skills and strong work ethics
• Flexibility to travel on project assignments
• Proven experience as a CAD designer, preferably in the field of equipment or machinery design
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

With over 30 years of experience, we have developed the HaemaFrac™ process, which allows countries to transform collected human plasma into essential hyperimmune products. We are currently seeking a Senior Process Architect to join our new team in Brisbane. As a permanent employee, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our new $350 million manufacturing facility in Queensland. Reporting to the Lead Process Architect, you will contribute your expertise in GMP architecture to review design proposals and ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Developing the master plan and managing third-party engineering companies to deliver concept BOD's and detailed designs - Reviewing and approving third-party CSA and detail design drawings - Planning, developing, and executing projects - Ensuring availability of resources to execute projects to benchmark standards - Assessing project risks and proposing mitigations - Collaborating closely with senior leadership in meeting organizational goals - Assisting in the evolution of architecture processes Requirements Summary: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in process architecture - Bachelor of Architecture or similar qualification - Experience working on large-scale pharmaceutical projects at the leadership architect level - Exemplary interpersonal, teamwork, communication, leadership, and organizational skills - Financial and commercial acumen when interfacing with external vendors - Positive mindset, especially in dealing with challenges and ambiguity - Willingness to embrace new systems, processes, technology, ideas, and continuous process improvement At Aegros Therapeutics, we offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and growth. The 3D Equipment CAD Designer is responsible for creating detailed and accurate 3D models and technical drawings of equipment and machinery using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They work closely with engineers, product developers, and other stakeholders to transform conceptual ideas and designs into functional and manufacturable products. The role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in CAD software tools

What you will be doing...

·       3D Modeling: Create precise and detailed 3D models of equipment and machinery components using CAD software. Ensure the models are accurate, functional, and in compliance with design specifications.

·       Technical Drawings: Generate comprehensive technical drawings, including isometric, and exploded views, detailing dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions. Provide clear and concise documentation for manufacturing processes.

·       Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, product developers, and other team members to understand design requirements, iterate on designs, and incorporate feedback to refine the models.

·       Prototyping Support: Work closely with the prototyping team to develop physical prototypes based on the 3D models. Provide necessary design modifications and improvements based on prototype testing and feedback.

·       Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on 3D models and technical drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards and company guidelines.

·       Software Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CAD software and techniques. Continuously improve skills and expertise in using various CAD tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

·       Design Optimization: Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and manufacturability improvements. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement these enhancements

·       Documentation: Maintain organized records of design files, revisions, and related documentation. Ensure version control and proper documentation practices are followed.

·       Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
