Care Group Administrative Assistant -Permanent Post
The post holder is to support the Care Group Support Officer (CGSO) in the operational management and delivery of Divisional priorities. They will be required to facilitate the continuous provision of a high quality administrative support to the Care Group Management team. They will support the CGSO in ensuring that patients are proactively managed and monitored in order to support the delivery of the Trust 18 week RTT target. Ensuring that on- going compliance with national and local waiting time's targets at all times are met. The post holder will support the CGSO in effective liaison with patients and clinicians in order to ensure that all Trust targets are met.
The post holder will be well organised, have attention to detail and proactively identify, escalate and resolve any patient pathway issues relating to 18 week delivery. Excellent communication skills are required as well as experience of working within the Trust IT systems eg. Careflow and Fusion. Flexibility and a responsive attitude are also required in order to react to changing demands of the division
The post holder will support the Care Group Support Officer in the operational management and monitoring of clinic utilisation and back-filling clinics to ensure that the 18 week RTT waiting times targets are being met, in addition to ensuring that Cancer 2ww patients are also booked in according to target & tracking of Choose & Book system and pathways.
Working with Care Group Support Officer and the Care Group Managers, the post holder will ensure that operational practice meets policy in line with local and national requirements.
Ensure performance against key access targets is measured and reported accurately, identifying in advance any areas of concern, recommending possible solutions.
To be supportive in the delivery and preparation of clinical notes/documentation in order for patients to be seen.
The post holder is expected to assist in working towards the business success of the Division.
Care Group Administrative Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Division of Medicine for a Care Group Administrative Assistant working 37.5 hours per week.
The post holder will be accountable for providing an efficient administrative service to a number of medical specialties, under Long Term Conditions, as well as supporting the wider Division.
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic and positive team player. The candidate should have experience of working in an administrative setting, preferably within healthcare.
The post holder will act as a point of contact for all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, as well as external stakeholders and must be able to organise their own workload within defined guidelines.
