The incumbent is responsible for Veteran, Family, and Community Engagement (VFCE) Directorate administrative support. As an Information Technology Specialist, you will:

• Be responsible for systems reliability and accessibility, information systems security programs policy/strategic development, IT continuity of operations planning/support, and support the Department in integrating information security services and related technologies to accomplish departmental IT security goals and program objectives, and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.

• Adjudicates all National Security positions, public trust positions for Suitability and fitness for Contractors.
• Review IBC Security Clearances and special accesses to include adjudication investigation results and respective documentation related to applicant or employee interviews and final decisions.

The incumbent of this position serves as a Budget Analyst with responsibility for performing routine budget analysis functions in assigned areas. The incumbent participates in funds control supporting the Budget Manager in the formulation, presentation, and execution of the organization's budget. Work may be performed in any segment of the normal range of budget administration work performed by the organization, including budget formulation, budget presentation-enactment, or budget execution. Major duties of the GS-14 Acquisition Analyst include:

• Providing technical assistance in the acquisition areas by reviewing activities, answering questions, or offering solutions to problems encountered within DOL acquisition and program offices during market research, source selection, negotiation or administration of contracts.
• Serving as a functional liaison between customers and PPMD staff members to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services provided. Serving as a resource to OSPE staff and OASAM on complex problem resolution in FAI-CSOD platform oversight.
