Our HR & Admin Executive will be responsible for all aspects of leave processing, staff health insurance, support staff recruiting and onboarding and supply faculty. They ensure that all aspects of the applications to the Ministry of Manpower are running smoothly and efficiently. This role will manage the relationships with our staff and external providers. A successful candidate will be an experienced team player who brings enthusiasm and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage recruitment activities including, ensuring job descriptions are kept up-to-date, job posting on the school website and job websites, coordinating the shortlisting of applicants, scheduling interviews and ensuring reference checks are completed.
- Supporting day-to-day administration of Supply Teachers and staff.
- Attend and answer regular recruitment and HR-related enquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and providing assistance.
- Coordinate the new staff arrival and onboarding process which includes the organisation of IT equipment,, email account provisioning and staff access cards as well as ensuring all relevant agreements and policies are reviewed and signed.
- Processing leave and attendance records for all staff.
- Register and ensure that all staff and contractual dependents (where applicable) are covered by the School’s medical insurance and that information surrounding the School’s medical insurance cover is communicated clearly when necessary.
- Support and assist on the Committee of Private Education (CPE) / EduTrust license process.
- Act in accordance with relevant legislation in Singapore, as well as UK guidelines, particularly with regards to educational provision, health and safety initiatives and child safeguarding and ensure that all students and staff maintain these standards
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and any other HR tasks assigned by the team lead.

Qualifications/Skills
- Diploma/ degree holder in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a school or other education environment
- Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Adaptable to changes and willing to multitask
- Ability to deal with confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
- Prior work experience in an international school environment will be preferred though not essential
