Patchway**



**Hours:** Up to 9.5 hours per week


Hours based on:
Wednesday 10am 3pm
Saturday 10.30am 3pm




**Rate:** £10.82 per hour and Weekend rate £11.10



**Job purpose:** To assist me, a friendly 38 year old man, with the day to day activities enabling me to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets my chosen lifestyle. I live at home with my mum, and I am looking for a kind PA to help me with my routines and to support me to access and attend social activities in and around Patchway and the general Bristol area. My own personal interests include Art, Sketching, Watching TV, playing computer games and would like someone who enjoys computers and has a good knowledge who can support me as well. I also like writing and I am currently writing a book which I may need support with .I would like someone who is artistic and can share their knowledge with me. I like to go to the cinema and shops and getting out and about.

I have Autism and this makes it quite important that my days are planned, and that full support is provided whilst out in the community. My Autism also results in additional support required when reading and writing.

You will be employed by me directly, but my mother supports me with this.

**Work Duties may include.**



**Supporting:
** With accessing social activities
With accessing the shops for personal items
With socialising and getting out for a coffee
With getting out and about in the community

**Other requirements:**


* Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
Assisting with management of employers health risks
Establish and maintain effective communication
Maintaining confidentiality
Full Clean license and access to motor vehicle preferable (Mileage paid)

**Location and additional information:**


* Within the employers home in Patchway and the local area
* 6 weeks of annual leave per year
* Friendly and flexible employer
