Job Overview: Centre Stage School of the Arts is looking for a person to fill an important role in our centre. This person is a key member of our team and the first person our parents meet when they walk through the door – The first impression families receive. A bright, helpful, positive, friendly person, with excellent interpersonal skills, a caring attitude and attentive customer service. Able to provide administrative support to teachers, and parents. A reliable team member with a strong work ethic. A passion for the arts, and child education, is also an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception: Meet & Greet: Welcome students, parents & visitors to our Centre and help out with front of house duties for occasional productions, shows and events.
Customer Care: To engage with new and current families, helping them find the right course & pathway for their child. Understand all our classes/courses to be able to confidently explain and to assist in marketing and sales to increase student enrolment
Communication: To handle in-person inquiries & phone calls. Respond to and write emails, ( good spoken and written English is important)
Administrative Tasks: Manage student registration process, attendance records, payment processing, perform basic admin and basic book keeping duties, liaising with accounts dept .
Scheduling: To help coordinate individual teaching sessions, schedules and appointments for teachers, staff, and students,
Reception/Office Areas: Provide organisation & logistics support. Help keep the reception area neat, tidy, organized, and welcoming. Work together with the team to help maintain general levels of tidiness, in the communal areas, manage and maintain orders and supplies: stationary, photocopy ink, uniforms etc
Team Support: Provide the teaching team with administrative support.

Proficiency in using Google products – Drive, docs, forms, sheets, calender etc and Microsoft Office
Preferably have at least 2 years experience within customer care, administration and/or reception duties and/or relevant areas of work

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9 am – 6:30 pm
Some flexibility required on Saturdays and Sundays (for events) by request and mutual agreement
Start Date:
Job starting in January, ideally with a handover period in November/December
