• Serves as the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS) point of contact for the Safety and Occupational Health Office.
• Serves as an expert by providing personnel assistance in processing Purchase Requests and Commitments within the automated system.
• Serves as a liaison between the Safety and Occupational Health Office and the Finance Office in assuring that all CEFMS data is processed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Attends meetings, as required, to receive all updated information on CEFMS and provide guidance to all other employees in the Safety and Occupational Health Office.
• Prepares time sheets and labor reports using the Corps of Engineers Time, Attendance, and Labor (CETAL) system in CEFMS.
• Serves as Human Resources point of contact for the office, working with supervisors in initiating personnel actions, training requests/actions, incentive awards, providing advisory service for benefits, pay issues, leave, etc.
• Works with delegated Hand Receipt Holder for the assigned Safety and Occupational Health Office to insure property is accounted for and utilized in the office and the field.
• Assures control of inventory and conducts periodic surveys to assure that all property is accounted for assures completion of required records.
• Receives visitors and callers to the Safety and Occupational Health Office involving inquiries concerning a variety of substantive administrative and/or technical issues.
• Assists supervisor and other technical/professional personnel with preparation and editorial assistance on technical reports, technical papers, and articles.
• Receives and distributes Safety and Occupational Health Office mail.

• Maintains a filing system, reviews correspondence for spelling and grammar, receives mail, maintains the store director's appointment calendar and serves as the forms manager.
• Serves as the personnel liaison between the commissary and Human Resources Service Provider (HRSP) by generating requests, monitoring status and resolving employee personnel actions.
• Performs in-processing functions for all new hires and reviews in-processing forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Serves as the payroll liaison between the commissary and the Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to resolve payroll issues.
• Procures, issues, controls, and disposes of supplies and equipment required for store operations.
• Maintains the property accounting register relating to supplies and equipment procured for the commissary.

You will serve as a Mail Clerk with responsibility effective handling of all mail that arrives at, and is sent from, the Logistics Operations Command, Base New Orleans, Comptroller of Base Operations Department, Logistics Division in New Orleans, LA.

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Selected candidates are intended to become a Retail Personal Banker I after completing a 4-8 week on-boarding and education program that includes rotations in operations and Sales & Service. There will be a certification at the conclusion of the program to provide selected candidates the opportunity to demonstrate skills necessary to successfully perform a role within the Retail Personal Banker job family. The Personal Banker I is a Financial Center position focused on using the consultative sales process to proactively identify and meet the financial needs of customers or prospects. The Personal Banker I maintains focus on acquiring new households and/or deepening existing customer relationships through a variety of activities, including but not limited to lobby leadership (Financial Centers) or aisle time (Bank Marts) and tele-consulting. This role is responsible for processing teller transactions as well as working as a member of the platform staff.

• Utilize CAMP and other approved Marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or, combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions that will allow for analysis of credit and financial information.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in terms of appearance and verbal/written communication.
• Demonstrated ability to develop a working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures in order to utilize good judgment in making sound decisions.
