Due to the dynamic collaborative Multi-disciplinary team Glossop Ward has the second lowest length of stay for patients with hip fractures in the South West according to the national hip fracture data base (2020). The successful candidate will need to possess good keyboard skills and experience of working in a busy, challenging environment. The role will include general ward reception duties such as answering the telephone to enquiries, following patient flow from admission to discharge using EPIC (our Electronic Health Record (EHR)), assisting all members of the Multidisciplinary team and communicating relevant information in a timely way. We are looking to recruit staff that have exceptional IT and record keeping skills, and a knowledge regarding confidentiality and data protection.
