The Human Capital Program Manager:

• Is responsible for managing the development and implementation of departmental human capital and strategic workforce planning products and initiatives.
• Demonstrates strong program and project management knowledge to effectively manage and execute a diverse portfolio of programs and initiatives.
• Provides oversight and guidance to staff responsible for strategic workforce planning, student programs, corporate recruitment strategies and other departmental level initiatives.
• Exercises responsibility for developing long range strategic plans, determining the best approach to resolving program issues and competing program requirements and effectively managing budgetary resources.
• Represents and/or leads where appropriate departmental, inter-agency and governmentwide working groups.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone with significant experience in managing inter-disciplinary programs such as but not limited to human capital, corporate recruitment, organizational assessments, student programs, workforce planning, and/or strategic planning. They should have strong written and oral communication skills, strong project management and project tracking capabilities and the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership across the organization.  Additionally, the Associate Director has a responsibility to be flexible to support changing priorities and to lead staff to influence programs, as well as identify and implement new processes and practices.

As a Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Leader, you will perform the following duties:

• Sets work priorities, and demonstrates proper work and safety procedures, installs new split and package HVAC systems; diagnoses and repairs electrical problems, replacing compressors, condenser fans, blower wheels, bearings, and other HVAC system components; uses plans and blueprints to locate and repair HVAC system mechanical, electric/electronic components.
• Provides expertise in various HVAC system technologies, including the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of specialized systems and equipment.
• Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs for building HVAC systems, ensuring the reliability and longevity of equipment and infrastructure.
• Leads HVAC projects, providing technical guidance and advice to other departments, contractors, and external stakeholders. - Performs advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues, analyze system failures, and recommend innovative solutions.
• Develops and reviews HVAC project specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable codes and standards, and coordinates with other professionals to develop comprehensive project plans.
• Provides technical guidance and oversight for HVAC projects performed by contractors, ensuring work quality, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with project specifications and regulations.

As a/an Program Manager, you will:

• Interface both internally and externally to assure that the Division effort will result in quality projects on time and at a reasonable cost.
• Provide leadership in establishing and maintaining effective management processes.
• Work closely with internal customers providing continuity of leadership in assessing Division mission and work requirements and in developing overall plans, goals, and objectives. Confer with Directors and managers to establish broad mission requirements and objectives, plan for accomplishment, review status and progress, provide management guidance and direction, and provide advice and/or decision on policy matters.
• Establish and maintain partnership with customers. Conduct periodic coordination meetings and program reviews to ensure full understanding and communication on critical project issues.
