Senior Administrative Officer – Student Administration and Academic Affairs – Faculty of Medicine
Full-time, Permanent – based at Southampton General Hospital
This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated senior administrator to join our busy Exams and Assessment Team in the Faculty of Medicine. You will work as part of a successful team within the Faculty, academic colleagues and colleagues across Student Administration and Academic Affairs to ensure effective and professional support for all aspects of the Faculty’s Exams and Assessment activities.
Major elements of the post will be to ensure the setting up and smooth running of all assessments including e-Assignment, practical exams including OSCEs and other assessment types, releasing marks, updating University systems, servicing committees, management of the external examiner process in liaison with other teams as well as updating annual assessment policies.
You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively and with excellent attention to detail. You will be well organised and adaptable, taking a proactive approach in reviewing processes and practices. Excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills are required as is a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
