Hours: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday

Location: Council HQ, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA

Duties include, planning, monitoring and controlling workflow; handling, storage, processing, sharing and retention of confidential child protection information; running statistical reports for analysis and liaising with operational staff and managers.

You will work as an effective member of the Central Administration Team within Education Resources delivering a quality service which supports managers and staff and contributes to positive office environment.

Essential Attributes

Job title: SEN Admin Assistant

Location: South West London

Salary: £120 - 130 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive are working with a fantastic specialist school based in South West London to support their recruitment in finding a SEN Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will have experience working in a school; whether that is as a SEND Teaching Assistant, Teacher or within HR or admin in a school previously.

This role will be split between school office duties, as well as working closely with the SENCo and supporting their role. This would involve supporting with documenting EHCPs, attending annual review meetings, liaising with parents/carers and handling of sensitive information. Experience needed:

Provide general secretarial duties e.g. typing correspondence in a timely manner using IT packages, maintaining files, reprographics, ensuring that there are sufficient supplies of stationery, collecting monies, distributing post, dealing with emails promptly, stamping school post and taking to the Post Office as required, preparation of school registers and absence reports on a weekly basis.

3. Be responsible for ensuring that all pupil data bases are maintained on a regular basis e.g. SIMS, Parent Pay, CHFSIS and produce reports as required.
