HR and Admin Executive
We are seeking a proactive, organized and detail-oriented HR and Admin Executive to assist our client in their long-established landscaping and group businesses. The ideal candidate understands the Employment Act and comes with some HR and admin experience to help keep the HR department in its deliverables to its employees and Company business.
Responsibilities
· To render overall daily operations support to the HR and Admin Dept of the Company/Group Companies.
HR Responsibilities
· To practise Employment Act best practises for matters pertaining to salary computations(OT, reconciling timesheets), leave entitlement calculations and absence deductions
· Handling of employees/workers HR matters with reference to guidance spelt by Employment Act
· Handle foreign workers’ matters including apply and renew work permit, managing foreign workers’ accommodation, workers’ repatriation and compute timesheets.
· Record staff medical reimbursement.
· Handle staff Hospitalisation and Surgery and WIC claims with the respective claim processing authority.
· Liase with recruitment agent and arrange candidates for interview.
· Organize monthly staff birthday celebration, assist in annual dinner and dance, Christmas and CNY celebration
Administrative support
· Work with freight forwarders on the import documentation for custom clearance. Arrange for insurance and coordinate delivery.
· Responsible for office equipment, staff uniforms, pantry refreshments, stationeries etc
· Responsible for company’s vehicles inspection, renewal of road tax and insurance.
· Handle phone calls and incoming emails.
· Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Min ‘O’ level preferably with Certificate in HRM.
· Good Employment Act knowledge with at least 1 year experience practise in the Singapore jurisdiction
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar job scope.
· Possess good sense of responsibility, self-motivated, attentive to detail and able to work independently in fast-paced environment.
· Good level of proficiency in MS Office skills such as Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
· Pleasant and positive personality with enthusiasm to learn
· Must be a team player to be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely good quality work.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a 6 months contract with option to convert to permanent.
Work Arrangement
Working hours: Mondays to Fridays from 8:30am to 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch break
Work from office with 1 day flexi work arrangement
