Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager who has professional fitness qualifications (level 2 or 3 as a minimum), with management and teaching experience in the fitness industry is required to join a campus Fitness Centre in Kingston.
SALARY: Starting from £26,000 per annum + Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Kingston upon Thames, South West London – 100% Site Based
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager who has professional fitness qualifications (level 2 or 3 as a minimum), with management and teaching experience in the fitness industry.
Working as the Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager you will be responsible for managing and the overall running of the fitness centre’s day to day operational requirements.
As the Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager you will also assist with the sales and marketing efforts, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed and generating new membership sales.
DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the Personal Trainer / Gym Instructor and Fitness Manager will include:
• Sales – achieve new member sales, total membership, and income targets
• Membership retention – use initiative aimed at improving and maintaining member retention
• Centre Operations – the overall running of the fitness centre’s day to day operational requirements
• Marketing – increasing awareness and generating new membership sales
• Health and Safety – adherence to club and site H&S requirements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Professional fitness qualifications (level 2 or 3 as a minimum)
• Experience teaching fitness classes
• First aid qualification
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Management experience within the fitness industry is essential
