This position performs work related to the processing of incoming or outgoing mail and the performance of related work requiring the application of established mail methods and procedures, knowledge of prescribed systems for governing the flow and control of communications, and knowledge of the organization and functions of the operating unit or units serviced in order to route mail of various types and a general nature

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs various related clerical duties such as facing, sacking, bundling, wrapping of outgoing materials
• Sorting bulk mail from post office
• Rerouting misdirected mail
• Date stamping
• Counting mail
• Screening for priority items
• Preparing routing and control forms
• Maintaining an up-to-date directory by name, room and telephone number
• Forwarding address for use in work assignment
• Other duties as assigned.

• This position is a AFGE Bargaining Unit position.
• This position is in the Competitive Service
• Current and former Federal employees must submit copies of their most recent SF-50 (Notice of Personnel Action). The SF-50 must identify the position title, series, grade, step, tenure and type of service (Competitive or Excepted). In some cases, more than one SF-50 may be required to show a higher grade previously held.
• Veterans' preference does not apply for internal or other current permanent Federal agency employees.
• Interchange Agreements with Other Merit System: Employees who occupy medical or medical-related positions and were appointed under 38 U.S.C. 4701(1) or (3) [formerly 38 U.S.C. 4104 (1) and (3)] must be serving in a full-time position without time limit and have served continuously for at least one year in this other merit system to be eligible to convert to the Title 5 System. About The Opportunity

As a Clinical Admin, you will be a key member of our Clinic and Medical Centre, ensuring the efficient management of administrative tasks and contributing to the smooth operation of our facility.

What You'll be Doing

Claims and Billing Management

• Submission of claims to corporate programme and insurer portals. Accurately and promptly submit insurance claims and follow up on any discrepancies or issues that arise.
• Manage invoicing and billing to patients and clients. Prepare and send invoices to patients and clients, track payments, and manage any billing inquiries or issues.

Medical Records Office

• Manage incoming and outgoing medical reports. Handle the receipt, processing, and distribution of medical reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage laboratory reports. Receive and verify lab results, submitting to doctor for review and compiling into medical reports for patients, liaison with lab partner on queries and issues.

Communication and Correspondence

• Monitor and respond to emails from patients, clients, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle incoming phone calls, provide information, schedule appointments, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Handle patient inquiries and concerns. Address patient questions and concerns, providing excellent customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Appointment scheduling and coordination. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinate with medical staff, and manage the appointment calendar.

Operational Support

• Support clinic operations. Assist with various administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the clinic, including registering/discharging patients at the counter, clerical tasks, restocking of clinic supplies and other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking for

• ITE, Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Healthcare Administration or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a Medical administrative role or similar position is highly preferred.
• Having a certification in phlebotomy is highly preferred as well
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using medical software and office applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
