Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career journey in the heart of healthcare? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Histopathology team as a Clerical Officer. This is a full-time position based at the esteemed King's Mill Hospital.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Secretarial Functions: Assist in managing the day-to-day secretarial operations of the department, ensuring efficiency and confidentiality.
• Organize and coordinate medical meetings, facilitating effective communication within the department and with external agencies.
• Produce accurate and timely histological reports, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Input medical information and data into the departmental information system, following the guidance of Consultant medical staff and Biomedical Scientists.
• Arrange and distribute materials required for Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Organize and track patient materials referred to specialist centers for diagnostic opinions.
• Provide comprehensive secretarial support during periods of absence within the section, ensuring continuity of service.
• Engage in our internal training program to enhance your understanding of medical terminology and stay abreast of industry developments.
• Strictly adhere to the section's Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
