Mitie are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team at GE Aerospace.
The Admin/Finance manager will be responsible for delivering the profit and loss for the business along with management of the balance sheet, including accurately and timely reporting to the BU and as part of the Group reporting timetable. Ensuring all revenue is recognized and reported in line with Group revenue recognition policy and maintaining ultimate responsibility of the accuracy of the cost recognition, including the accurate postings of intercompany recharges. They will be the key point of contact for the Operational Management team providing insight into the business performance.
Main Duties:
-Being the Admin/Finance Manager for Mitie, you will support the onsite Senior leadership team with a variety of requests, tio include but not limited to:Finance:
-Keep track of chargeable works, minor works, projects, build and submit financial applications for client approval, Invoicing, WIP & Debt, WIP meetings with team, Support and chair internal finance meetings, Client meetings, Raising Sap SO's and PO's, Requesting & managing client purchase orders., Producing & submitting client finance reports, Adhoc finance duties.
Line manager duties:Helpdesk - 2 staff, Apprentice business admin
General Admin:
-Provide general admin support to all site team, Ordering of uniform/stationary, Support and provide finance reports
-Part of this role also includes ensuring monthly P&L, WIP and PO's are managed and reported accurately.
-Support unblocking aged working capital where relevant, preparation of applications, WIP and debt reviews, supervising Helpdesk and business admin apprentice. As well as head BU monthly
-Performance review calls and support with BU with forecast and AOP analysis and preparation.
-Additional duties could include but are not limited too supporting other team members and supporting BU with adhoc requests.
What we are looking for
-Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, good written, verbal and presentational skills, and adept at problem solving.
-Previous experience within a commercially based or management admin/ finance role.
-Part qualified or studying (AAT, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent), with a keen interest in understanding business and its contracts and identifying opportunities for improvements would be advantageous.
