A little about myself:
I am a teenage boy living in Swansea. I have autism and learning disabilities. I am looking for a second PA to come out with me and my existing PA. I love going out but sometimes need encouragement. I need to stick to strict routines. I enjoy swimming, listening to music and going to McDonalds.
Hours of work
6 hours per week during school term (Usually a Monday and Tuesday after school but this can be discussed and changed if needed)
10 hours per week in school holiday
You will be working with my other PA.
Rate of pay: £11.55.
Tasks involved.
• Accompany me and my PA to my chosen activity.
• Support my PA.

• Be willing to undertake any training identified as relating to the post e.g. Manual Handling Course, Basic First Aid.
Concerning the position
You will be formally employed by the Direct Payment Client which requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
