Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Higher Clerical Assistant / Finance Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance department and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and distribution of financial reports, including monthly statements, invoices, and purchase orders.
Process and record financial transactions, such as payments, invoices, and expense reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including filing, organizing, and archiving documents.
Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Assist with the preparation and submission of financial documents for audits and tax purposes.
Handle inquiries and provide information to internal and external stakeholders regarding financial processes and procedures.
Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in an administrative or finance role.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet programs (e.g., Excel).
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance procedures.
