• Manages specific operating budgets
• Serves as the Risk Control Manager (RCM) for program planning, assessments, reporting and preparation of the Annual Statement of Assurance

• Develops, analyzes, reviews, negotiates, maintains, and administers Inter-service Support Agreements (ISSA’s), Memoranda of Understanding/Agreement (MOUs/MOAS) and, Performance Based Agreements (PBA) for the site
• Serves as the coordinator and administrator for training and career development, Defense Travel System (DTS) and, EAGLE/labor reporting for the organization

Your new role
Working with clients from a range of industries - mostly corporate businesses within the local midlands area, you will get involved in planning and delivery of audit assignments. You will liaise with clients to efficiently and professionally obtain relevant information to support the audit process and with colleagues at all levels to work as a team to achieve deadlines. Dependent upon your previous audit experience, you may lead audits, managing the work of juniors. If studying towards professional accountancy qualifications, you will be offered full study support to enable you to complete your exams.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be at least ACA or ACCA part qualified with audit experience gained in practice either within a large UK firm or within a regional/ independent UK practice. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a professional attitude and a good work ethic.

Professor Rachel Zhang and Jean Zeng are seeking a qualified Research Assistant to support data-driven academic projects. Responsibilities include data collection, cleaning, aggregation, advanced econometric analysis, and assisting with research papers and reports. Candidates must have a master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, with strong coding skills (Python, R, or Stata) and expertise in econometric methods. • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of accounting documents submitted by assigned activities.
• Maintains assigned subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, customer deposits, unearned income, annual leave payable, equipment, prepaid items and central storeroom accounts.
• Determines that all transactions are properly processed and that total activity agrees with predetermined control tables.
• Analyses and reviews reports and machine listing to assure they are in balance and in proper format and sort sequence, that accounting data is valid and that it adheres to prescribed regulatory manuals and procedures.
• Classifies erroneous conditions referring complex errors/problems to the accountant.
