- The position is located in Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Resource Directorate, Financial Management Division, Accounting Branch.
- Serve as the Senior Accountant responsible for designing, developing, operating, and administering accounting operations that involve policy, accounts payable, debt collections, accounts receivable, and reimbursement programs.
- Responsible for independently solving problems, performing research, developing proposals, and providing technical advice and guidance for the DCAA accounting and financial management systems.
- Perform written and oral presentations and participates in briefings to internal and external management officials on Agency policies and procedures.
- Perform duties utilizing information technology techniques for the use of financial management and accounting applications, spreadsheets and statistical data.
- Participates in meetings concerning operating programs, advises on the financial status of programs, discusses operations, progress and accomplishments and probable effects of alternative actions
