About our client: Our client is a leading global chemical manufacturing company.

*The role will be hired on a 1-year contract basis to support the finance team.

About the role:

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data analysis within established deadlines.
• Maintain the general ledger and support accounting activities.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support the preparation of the quarterly consolidation package.
• Manage daily operations in the general ledger system.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Collaborate with auditors for both annual and quarterly audits.
• Oversee daily operations in accounts payable maintenance.
• Update and manage supplier and customer master data.
• Assist in cash flow management and projection reporting.
• Help prepare corporate income tax data.
• Contribute to the preparation of GST reports.
• Assist in the annual inventory stock take.
• Provide ad-hoc support for various accounting and finance tasks.

About you:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Diploma in Accountancy.

• Oversees audit planning, field work, and audit reporting; prepares reports, and communicates findings and recommendations to management.
