Salary: £76,153 - £80,000 per annum, basis experience
Location: We have hybrid working in place, with 1-2 days per week, in our office in Canary Wharf.
What exactly will you be doing?
As the Head of Development, Culture and Inclusion at AAT, you will lead a transformative agenda to align our people strategy with our 2030 vision. You will spearhead the design and implementation of comprehensive strategies for talent development, diversity and inclusion and employee wellbeing. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our organisational culture, enhancing employee experience and driving engagement across the organisation.
You will be joining AAT during a period of significant change, presenting a unique opportunity to assess and evaluate our current approach to Talent & Development. You will design a roadmap for improvement, scaling up the organisation to a level where Talent & Development is fundamentally connected to performance and business goals ensuring that AAT has people with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to meet its strategic plans and objectives.
Major objectives
• Develop and deliver a high-quality, inclusive programme of development that supports our 2030 strategy and enhances employee experience.
• Design and embed diversity and inclusion throughout all people team policies and processes.
• Create and implement a wellbeing strategy with high-quality initiatives supporting colleagues throughout their AAT career.
• Establish a robust framework for talent management, workforce and succession planning with clear career progression pathways.
• Lead internal communications to align key messages with our strategic plan and cultural transformation.
• Continuously improve our end-to-end employee experience.
• Review and enhance our talent and development maturity, creating a roadmap that connects performance and organisation goals.
What are we looking for?
We're seeking a visionary leader with:
• Extensive experience in leading and motivating an effective people development team.
• Comprehensive knowledge of organisation development, talent management and succession planning.
• Experience in design, delivery and implementation of talent management and succession planning initiatives.
• The ability to align learning and development initiatives with strategic business objectives.
• A passion for creating an inclusive, high-performance culture.
• MCIPD qualification or equivalent level of experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proven track record in change management and cultural transformation.
The ideal candidate will be a value-driven, inclusive leader with strong personal integrity and the ability to make and implement tough decisions when necessary. You will be politically astute, consultative and focused on delivering measurable results that drive our organisation forward.
