Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Operations Technician means you will be acting as the go to person for all technical auditing, authorisation and issuance support. You will have an ability to demonstrate excellent technical insurance knowledge and understanding of the industry and its regulators. Your new role
As Audit Senior/Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for taking an active role in all areas of an audit from planning through to completion. Alongside carrying out this high-quality audit work, you will receive continuous support throughout your role, reporting to senior managers surrounding your progress and audit work.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous extensive experience working in an audit team within a practice carrying out high-quality audit work. Experience in all three aspects of an audit and plenty of exposure to coaching junior/senior members will allow you to be successful in this job role. The organisation is looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to providing professional excellence to help you to build strong client relationships, as well as good analytical review skills.

A Top 20 firm with offices across the UK are seeking an accounts and audit semi-senior to join their team in their Altrincham office. Due to their years of experience and range of partners, they specialise in services including accounts, audit, corporate finance, tax and more. This is the perfect opportunity to develop your current accounts and audit knowledge and develop within a firm offering great training and development, working with a mixed bag of clients, from start-ups to OMBs to SMEs with turnovers in excess of £25 million.

Your new role
As Audit and Account Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for producing statutory and management accounts, completing corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and producing partnership and sole trader accounts, along with bookkeeping duties. Developing and maintaining client relationships is also required. This will involve representing the firm at networking events as well as assisting in the development of existing and new clients.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous working within practice in a similar role. This candidate will ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification and be AAT or ACCA/ACA Part Qualified. Experience in accounting software is required, Xero and IRIS are essential, any other software's will be considered. You will need to be driven and hardworking, with the goal of developing your professional career.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £29,000 and £35,000 dependent on experience and you will have access to study support packages to continue your professional qualifications.
