We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our growing Accounting and Finance department in Atlanta, GA!

The Accounting Assistant will join our accounting team in our Wholesale Division, Bridge Specialty Group. Reporting to the Regional Controller, you'll be responsible for carrier reconciliations, transactions and vendor payables.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Responsible for vendor payables.

• Produce monthly reports and reconciliations.

• Responsible for Carrier payables set up on item basis schedule.

• Assists the accounting team with bank/GL transactions.

• Work with underwriting teams to address day-to-day accounting concerns.

• Answer questions from Carriers regarding balances & resolve discrepancies.

• Cross-trained in accounting functions to help fill-in covering vacations or any other team absences.

• Assist with special projects.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Minimum education or prior job experience – Associate of Arts Degree; or 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficient with MS Office

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
