About the role
The Internal Audit Lead will play a critical role in providing independent professional advice and assurance to the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) Chair and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of business functions. This newly created position is responsible for leading the internal audit function, ensuring compliance with global standards and regional requirements, and enhancing the organizations risk management and operational efficiency. This role would suit an industry expert in internal audit, or a first mover consultant at Director level with a background in Audit, Risk & Compliance.
Duties
Lead Internal Audit: Oversee the internal audit function (co-source model), implementing effective strategies and frameworks aligned with global and regional standards.
Develop Audit Plan: Contribute to creating a three-year rolling audit plan with the ARC, Executive Leadership Team, and Head of Risk and Compliance.
