• Ensures that the database is in balance at all times and that the integrity of the system is maintained.
• Generates reports in the appropriate format and distributes according to scheduled time frames.
• Performs research to make corrections to the database or general ledger to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of reports.
• Performs internal balancing operations of the system.
• Releases all weekly, monthly and yearly reports as prescribed by IRM guidelines.

SUMMARY:

This multifaceted position combines responsibilities in cost accounting and payroll management. The primary payroll duties involve overseeing daily and weekly time and attendance activities in KRONOS Dimensions, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, processing payroll-related data in SAP Payroll, and addressing team members' inquiries. In the realm of cost accounting, the role includes generating daily/weekly reports for plant management, aiding in the upload of variance information into SAP, and providing support for self-audits of critical processes. Additionally, the position involves managing employee supply processes, including inventory, and ordering of various supplies, as well as handling other tasks such as records retention, SAP/Coupa PO receiving, and supporting HR initiatives within the plant. Adaptability to emerging duties and projects is essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PAYROLL DUTIES:

• Assist plant supervision with daily and weekly time and attendance activities in KRONOS Dimensions.
• Monitor plant time analytics in KRONOS Dimensions and maintain process within tolerance.
• Provide training to new supervisors as needed.
• Ensure weekending payroll/T &A is completed per corporate policies.
• Process approved vacation, holiday, and sick pay into appropriate payroll system.
• Enter payroll deductions into SAP Payroll.
• Complete AskHR/Box Office tickets as needed.
• Assist team members with payroll questions/concerns and accessing AskHR.

COST ACCOUNTING DUTIES:

• Daily/weekly reporting to plant management.
• Assist Controller/Accountant with plant variance information for upload into SAP.
• Provide support to plant management team, including monitoring processes in production areas.
• Assist plant management team with self-audits of critical processes determined by corporate accounting.

• Manage employee supply processes which includes boots, freezer jackets, cafeteria, and employee sales. Maintain inventory and ordering of office supplies, cafeteria supplies and miscellaneous employee supplies.

• Perform other duties and projects as they arise. Other duties include, but are not limited to records retention, enter PO receiving in SAP/Coupa and supporting HR with plant activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years' experience.
• Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System as well as Microsoft Office & Excel, SAP Preferred.
• Communication Skills: Requires written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of management. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others.

• Must reside in the United States to be considered.

Management Level:

Summary: This position is in charge of compiling various reports that measure actual production, variances, forecasts, inventories, metrics (this list is not all-inclusive) for upper management and corporate.   This position is a day position that works Monday through Saturday, with occasional Sundays and holidays as needed.  Applicant MUST have a flexible schedule to work early mornings into late evenings when needed.  Excellent data entry, math and problem solving skills are a must, along with the ability to adapt quickly and work in a fast paced environment.  Hired applicant will be required to cross-train in other parts of the office and cover other desks as needed.

Required to cover Saturdays when plant is working.

Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Experience: 1 year of office type experience.  Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; Tyson Business Computer System an understanding of the system features and how to use these features would be helpful. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills.  Special Skills: Good attendance and safety record; ability to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to work with little supervision; detail oriented.

Summary:

This position is in Tyson Logansport Scale house.  It ensures accurate livestock weights and payments to producers/truckers. Oversees livestock contracts and generates weekly/monthly reports to the plant and corporate.    

Duties/Responsibilities:

Verify livestock weights and download electronic scale data.

Generate payments to producers and truckers.

Audit weights and payments data.

Prepare various weekly/monthly spread sheets and reports for the plant and corporate.

Other duties as assigned.

Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks set priorities evaluate results. 

Must have the ability to work with a broad range of plant and corporate personnel as well as producers, truckers and financial institutions. 

Minimum of basic computer skills, MS Outlook, Word, Excel required.

Must have the ability to read and complete reports and required paperwork. 

Must be able to work independently with little to no direct supervision.

Excellent verbal communications skills are required.

Knowledge of basic office equipment and business practices required.

Applicant will be expected to cross-train in all areas of the office to provide vacation and sick coverage.  

Requirements:
