Audit & Accounts Senior (Accountancy Practice)
Location: Wantage, Oxfordshire
Salary: £48k - £50k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
The Client:
Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, offering comprehensive financial solutions tailored to meet diverse needs.
The Role:
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be preparing client accounts, undertaking audits, and managing tax returns.
Responsibilities:
- Provide input on personal tax returns.
- Prepare year-end journals for clients' accountancy systems.
- Handle VAT calculations and returns.
- Produce management accounts within deadlines.
- Conduct client meetings as needed.
- Support and develop junior team members.
- Identify additional value opportunities for clients.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as an Audit Senior, Accounts Senior or in a similar role.
- At least 1-3 years of practice experience.
- Minimum 1 year of audit experience.
- Possess ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Understanding of practice-based accountancy.
- Skilled in IT.
- Strong team working and communication skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
