To maintain effective communication and working relationships with all internal and external project staff, supporting clinical services, departments within the Trust non-commercial bodies and pharmaceutical sponsors and Trust Audit and Research & Development. To participate in unit meetings and to attend meetings, seminars and conferences when appropriate. To liaise with researchers and collaborators as a first point of contact for new proposals. Supporting researchers and clients both internal and external to the Trust. They will be required to understand Research, demonstrate a variety of administrative skills to effectively communicate with external collaborators, researchers and multi-disciplinary staff across the Trust. To liaise with trust management staff such as clinical services managers, HR & Finance departments, to inform them of new studies and obtain their support as part of the approval process. To liaise with all relevant support services such as pharmacy, radiology and pathology to inform them of new studies and obtain their support as part of the trust approval process. To support with the calculation and invoicing of all studies. To use the Audit Management and Tracking system to complete Reports and provide analysis to colleagues to support action planning.
