The Accounting Software and Business Process Consultant will identify and solve accounting and financial management problems, improve business processes, and implement Info-Tech accounting software solutions to fit the client's needs.
Software Improvement and UAT
· Analyze the current Info-Tech accounting software to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for improvement
· Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure a change, update or new feature in the Info-Tech accounting software meet the requirements before go-live
· Collaborate with other team members including developers and project managers to ensure project success and completion within established timelines and budget
Training and support
· Provide technical accounting advice to support team, sales team, developer team etc.
· Provide training and support to clients to ensure they can effectively use and maintain the Info-Tech accounting software
· Work with clients to implement Info-Tech accounting software solutions to fit their business needs
· Conduct trainings for in-house and WSQ programs that are related to Accounting systems
· Perform learning needs analysis and formulate appropriate training strategies
· Design curriculum, develop training materials and conduct training activities including but not limited to classroom facilitation and course assessment
· Analyse and review training feedback and evaluation to identify any areas of improvement for each training program conducted
· Handle the full spectrum of training administration and liaise with internal and external training partners and customers
· Maintain training facilities and equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial management, or related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience working with accounting software and related systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Advantage if experience with specific accounting software products (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, etc.)
