he Audit reporting Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organisation complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards related to the NDIS and Child Safety. This includes the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs, policies, and procedures. In particular around Restrictive Practices 2A Module (Submissions, Setting up the panel and reporting). The Audit reporting Officer will work closely with various departments to ensure that all activities are in line with NDIS requirements and that the organisation maintains a high standard of service delivery to participants. Stationed in Lake Macquarie and overseeing offices in Tamworth, Hunter and Central Coast.

Support the implementation and maintenance of our quality management system in collaboration with the Quality and Governance Manager.
Monitor compliance with quality assurance activities, including external audits.
Assist in preparing timely responses to external bodies, such as the NDIS Commission and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
Work closely with the Quality and Governance Manager to review best practice initiatives aimed at improving care and support standards and effectiveness.

Essential Criteria:

BSc community Services or A degree in a relevant field
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the NDIS or Community sector.
Min. 2 years’ experience in similar role or with equivalent experience.
Ideally a background in clinical care would be preferred, but not essential.
Strong understanding of NDIS standards, relevant laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
