- Consults with HR functional experts, IT subject matter experts and customers to develop and refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into design specifications for new automated tools.
- Provides technical support to HR Information Systems specialists regarding requirements analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for a broad spectrum of software life-cycle management of existing or proposed HR IT systems.
- Writes programming code to design specifications to deliver business automation solutions using programming and scripting languages such as APEX or Oracle PL/SQL.
- Identifies or resolves problems arising from conflicting requirements between existing system functionality and proposed, new or additional requirements.
- Applies expert knowledge of available data to design and analyze complex data extracts that produce reliable and valid business intelligence in support of customer mission.
- Develops and delivers formal and/or informal briefings or instruction to system users regarding complex system issues or applications and develops user manuals or instructions.
