- Responsible for providing instructions, distributing and balancing the workload employees (base level GS-07) who perform such work as processing a wide variety of retired pay transactions.
- Keep in touch with the status and progress of work, and makes day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities.
- Distribute and balance the workload among employees in accordance with established work flow or job specialization.
- Give on-the-job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices.
- Maintain a current knowledge and answers questions of other employees on procedures, policies, directives.
- Resolve simple informal complaints of employees and refers others to supervisor.
- Make information suggestions to supervisor as requested concerning promotions, reassignments, recognition of outstanding performance, and personnel needs.
