Join MEGT as a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Boilermaker Apprentice! Are you a motivated, reliable individual eager to start a career in the Engineering industry? MEGT has an exciting opportunity to complete your Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade with one of our clients. About the company: Our client specialises in manufacturing and installing screw piling foundations using the most advanced equipment and high-quality material available. Located in Thomastown, they offer the support and mentorship you need to succeed in your apprenticeship - APPLY NOW! Responsibilities:
Assist in fabrication, welding, and assembly, of metal structures and components.
Safely operate and maintain welding equipment, power tools, and machinery.
Work closely with qualified boilermakers to learn welding, cutting, and metalworking techniques.
Work diligently on a production line in a fast-paced environment.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Requirements:
Good numeracy skills and an interest in machinery and fabrication.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
A proactive approach to safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
What we're looking for:
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to be part of a diverse team.
Punctual, reliable, and hardworking with strong time management skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks safely.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical, police check, and random drug and alcohol testing.
