Role: Night Healthcare Assistant
Salary: £11.50 per hour
Location: SE26, Crystal Palace
Job Type: Part Time
Shifts on offer*: Wednesday & Thursday Nights, 8pm to 8am
*Shift Times are set times
About the Role
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Night Healthcare Assistant within the Crystal Palace area who can support a male service user who has Spinal Injury and requires support with Bowel Care. He lives at home with his wife and pet dog, which you will be able to build up key relationships to anyone else involved. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are considered more of a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within their own home and especially within the community.
You will need to communicate with our services users and their next of kin effectively and appropriately, whilst also giving then the opportunity to communicate their needs as well.
Activities will include taking part with clinical tasks, as well as aspects of Personal Care and Moving & Handling.

Requirements for the Role
Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.
- A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
- Background knowledge and experience within complex care, but not a requirement.
- To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
