Section 1: Position Summary

Partner with the Product Owner, to understand business needs and its changes.  The business analyst must assess the impact of the changes to the product’s system, recording, analyzing and documenting the requirements.

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Product Owner to write accurate user stories and acceptance criteria, incorporating technical dependencies that are ready to be consumed by the team.
• Supports and educates the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Actively participates in scrum ceremonies Assists the project team in the definition of project deliverables
• Participates in retrospectives, identifying the successes and challenges encountered and being an advocate for positive change.
• Completes the accurate and timely updates as required to time and project tracking systems.
• Maintain documentation, including user guides and system documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues in system environments deployed by the organization.
• Continually enhances own domain knowledge of systems, products, and industry.
• Collaborates with team members to identify and apply best practices.
• Works with Product Owner and Team to plan and execute project implementations.
• Continually improve personal skills and adaptability to agile practice and the practical application of these skills.
• Assists in the identification and mitigation of project risks.
• Brings technical product knowledge to strategic business conversations.
• Assists with other tasks and projects as assigned.

• Demonstrated success in Business Analyst position or equivalent work experience. 
• Bachelor’s degree or  equivalent work experience
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including active listening.
• Knowledge of PC applications including SQL and MS Office products.
• Knowledge of common business applications and analytical tools.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge and/or experience with writing user stories and acceptance criteria. 
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile theory.
• Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.

The entry-level GIS Consultant will join an existing team of GIS professionals to integrate GIS technology in support of our core services including energy infrastructure feasibility and site selection, environmental permitting, and digital solutions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Management of GIS projects supporting environmental permitting projects and regulatory compliance activities.
• Provide innovative solutions for client needs to help grow our GIS and data related services.
• Prioritize, organize, and perform numerous work assignments in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment. 
• Work effectively with others in a team environment to deliver quality projects successfully. 
• Author and edit geoprocessing scripts and tools with python and model-builder. 
• Publish and maintain ArcGIS web-based map services and applications. 
• Develop and deploy mobile data collection systems including Trimble and Esri mobile applications.
• Enhance existing GIS capabilities through continuous improvement of methods, tools, and workflows. 
• Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolve issues with GIS systems; recommend technical solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, geography or related field or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• Some professional experience using Esri’s ArcGIS Suite, including Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst extensions. 
• Experience designing and developing ArcGIS Online web maps and customized web apps utilizing ArcGIS Server.
• Experience building, deploying, and supporting Esri mobile applications.
• Experience with data management including organizing and maintaining complex projects containing geospatial and tabular data, custom tools and toolboxes, analysis output, maps, and enterprise SQL geodatabases.
• Previous experience working effectively in a collaborative, team environment to deliver quality projects on time and within budget. 
• Thorough knowledge of the technical application, concepts, principles, and theories in GIS and GNSS. 
• Strong oral and written communication skills, keen orientation to detail, and an eye for professional presentation and aesthetics in project deliverables (maps, charts and graphs, and tables).  
• Self-motivated, quick learning, curious, resourceful, flexible individual with a common-sense approach to conducting business and workload management. 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in GIS.
• Experience as a primary point-of-contact on mid- to large-scale GIS projects. 
• Experience with linear referencing. 
• Experience with Python scripting or other computer programming languages. 
• Experience using ArcPro in a production setting, creating ArcPro geoprocessing tools in Python, and utilizing Arcade.
• SQL database development and management experience.
• Experience in a consulting setting.
• Experience gathering field data with Trimble GPS or Esri Mobile solutions.

• Serve as subject matter expert for QS1 and Docutrack in order to provide assistance and analysis to department

• Ensure that all workflow guidelines are followed by staff and contractual deadlines are met; work collaboratively with account management team
• Continuously review and evaluate current system and workflow processes for enhancements/upgrades that will best support changing needs and projected growth of operations.
• Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently
• In coordination with Director of Operations, develop/conduct regularly scheduled performance evaluations.
• Lead by example in all areas of role and model the non-negotiable attributes: positive attitude, dependability, commitment, productivity, efficiency and exemplary customer service

Education and/or Certifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)

• 5+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience required
