WorldFish would like to hire one (01) intern who will assist in maintaining accurate project financial records, documentation, and database. Beside this, s/he will also assist in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process.
By getting hands-on experience by working under a Project Finance professional, s/he can understand and practically apply his/her theoretical knowledge of financial accounting in his/her day-to-day work orienting in such a position.
The successful candidate will:
- Assist in maintaining accurate project financial records and documentation in OCS.
- Assist in maintaining and updating project and partner financial records and databases.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting of project activities.
- Assist in the coordination of resource allocation and monitoring.
Requirements
This opportunity will be suitable for you if you have the below skills and qualifications:
- The candidate either will have obtained or currently be working towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar equivalent qualifications.
- Must have knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams applications and hands-on experience with reputable ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
- Should be capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation.
- Excellent command of the English language – both written and verbal.

Location and Duration
Successful intern(s) will be based at WorldFish Headquarters, in Penang, Malaysia. The successful candidate should be available to commence the internship as soon as possible. This position is open only to national applicants only. Interviews are expected to be held in January 2025 and only shortlisted candidates will be notified and expected to attend the interview.
