Under guidance of the Principal Inspector, directs the inspection and surveillance of the air carrier’s continuous airworthiness program in regard to assigned aircraft fleet assignment(s). This is the full performance level for NAs. The Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) is located at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS). The Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) is the senior supply chain management officer for a VA Health Care System (VA HCS) with multiple sites of care and supported catchment area, responsible for the development and integration of a cohesive, forward-looking supply chain that ensures the logistical requirements of the VA HCS with multiple sites of care and supported catchment area are met. The incumbent is a bench level Medical Technologist (MT) serving in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) in the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Nashville Campus (TVHS), Nashville, TN,. P&LMS offers comprehensive and complex laboratory services in an affiliated medical center / healthcare system. The Technologist is usually assigned to a specific work-station, section, or campus. However, cross-training between work-stations or sections is not only encouraged but may also be required. Duties or functions performed include but are not limited to:

• Has knowledge of and ability to collect samples appropriate for the tests requested by the physician using the correct preservatives, anticoagulants, collection intervals and /or times, and patient condition (s).
• Evaluates the suitability of the specimen for analysis, requesting new specimen if determined to be unusable. Prepares specimens for analysis, insuring that the physiologic state of the specimen properties is maintained.
